James: Mixed Martial Arts Event
My fundraising project for The Baton of Hope started by signing up for a charity mixed martial arts event that spans most major towns and cities across the UK. This was something I had never done before, however, it held a certain value to it knowing the battles that people deal with on the inside, I too could face my own battle inside The Octagon.
After losing many close friends recently, The Baton Of Hope was an easy choice for me to fundraise for. Their work within the community, commitment to changing lives and support to those that need it the most is monumental.
In total I raised £1200 – my starting target was £100!
Sadly I have no pictures of my event however I have a very proud picture with my daughter holding the Baton during my leg of the 2025 Tour.
