Why we created this competition
The Baton of Hope is the UK’s leading suicide prevention charity. Each year we look for ways to amplify the voices of our community and this calendar is one of the most powerful ways we do that. Every image we select becomes part of something that reaches thousands of people, all year long.
Passing hope forward
The Baton of Hope exists to prevent suicide and support positive mental health. This competition invites our community to pass that baton through images that inspire action.
Your image, all year
The 2027 Actions for Hope Calendar is shared with organisations, schools, and supporters across the UK. Selected images will be seen every single day of the year.
