Brid lost her only child, Sam, age 19, to suicide and now wants to support Baton of Hope in the pursuit of a zero-suicide society and work alongside the charity to bring change. Brid says: Losing Sam was catastrophic, to me, my husband, our family and friends, and Sam’s friends. It has taken me a while to get myself to a place where I am ready to support the charity and use my skills to honour Sam’s life and help me make some sense out of his death.
