Expanding Our Impact: Join Our Board of Trustees

We are seeking an experienced fundraising trustee to join our Board of Trustees. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your professional skills to shape our fundraising strategy, strengthen our financial sustainability, and help us grow our impact.

As a member of the Board, you will work closely with fellow trustees and the senior team to:

• Advise on and support the development of our fundraising strategy.
• Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities, including trusts, foundations, and corporate partnerships.
• Provide insight on donor stewardship and income diversification.
• Champion a fundraising culture across the organisation.
• Ensure good governance and compliance with fundraising regulations.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• A proven track record in fundraising and/or grant fundraising (e.g., trusts, foundations, corporates or major donors).
• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to contribute at Board level.
• A good understanding of fundraising regulations and best practice.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
• A commitment to Baton of Hope’s mission, vision and values.
• Previous trustee experience is welcome but not essential — we provide a full induction and ongoing support.
